Welcome

Welcome to the Harvard Kennedy School Admissions Blog.  The purpose of this blog is to provide a wealth of information to prospective applicants about the admissions process, student life, financial aid, and what our alumni are doing in the world.  The focus will be on our Master’s programs.  PhD Admission is handled through the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. 

Current students and alumni interested in writing for the blog are welcome to contact our office at admissions@hks.harvard.edu.

Most of the posts will be written by me, Matt Clemons (Director of Admissions), but I will call upon a host of individuals for assistance with the content.  I will make sure to provide specific information on content contributors.

The best way to keep up with the blog is to subscribe.  You can subscribe by entering your email address in the box above the “Subscribe” button in the top of the right menu.  After you enter your email address and click on the “Subscribe” button you will be taken to a confirmation page.  Those who utilize an RSS reader may also subscribe by adding the web page link to your RSS reader of choice. 

I understand that there are many different audiences that will tune in to this blog.  Some readers are waiting for an admission decision and some readers are several years from applying. I will do my best to balance out the posts so there is something for everyone, but the balance might be weighted toward one audience more than another depending on the time of year.
